Caution - contains History Lesson, of sorts -
These first two photos, undated, and which hang in the Dining Room, show the Clubhouse with a covered porch on at least three sides.
This newest entry, below, shows that the porch had now been enclosed for more room inside the club
and fitted out with 15-lite entry doors. The photo, provided by Jack Woolridge is dated "Easter 1942" .
Seated are Jack's Mother,Barbara McQuillen and Louise Angstadt while the dashing gentleman standing between them is Jack's Dad, long time CCCC member John R. "Dick" Woolridge.
The area where they are posing would be where our current patio is located and appears to be paved
with flagstone.

Here's where it gets confusing. The patio in the photo below is encircled by a curved balustrade, but the "patio" itself seems to actually be a wooden "porch" or "deck" .
After further discussion with Jack, it would seem that the progression is as follows: The previous porches
were enclosed with the 15-Lite glass doors and windows and at that same time or later, the uncovered
porch with the curved balustrade was added. Sometime after that the Flagstone patio shown in the "Easter 1942 " picture replaced the curved porch. If anyone has any further clues, please let us know .
Below, this is likely from the same era but the view is looking toward the patio, the glass entry doors
visible through the windows behind the ( unidentified ) young lady.
For a modern perspective, I believe that the photographer must have been standing in roughly the area where Bud Dale now parks his car.
Jack is baffled by
the clubs in
the foreground,
since neither of
his parents
were golfers.
And this picture is much, much later - notice that the sliding doors have been replaced with modern windows and doors and that the balustrade around the patio is now gone. I'm guessing that this was after the 1970's remodeling when the bar was enlarged.
